Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 1991 olds siltouette, crankshaft sensor, pressure tester

i have put new pulgs,fule line filter, fule line sock,breather,plug wires,fule cenor, fule regulater, new radiator. i can drive it about 2 miles and it stules and dies. let it sit about 3 minutes it will go a few more blocks then do it again  what can this be. i just keep putting money into this car we are retired and can not afford another car please help

First thimg I would do is connect a fuel pressure tester, and see if lack of fuel is the problem. You want for the pressure to stay at 14 PSI till after the engine dies.
If it does, then see if there is spark when the engine dies.
If the pressure drops before the engine dies, first remove the gas cap to see if it is forming a vacuum in the tank and starving the fuel system.
If that isn't it, a fuel pump may be necessary.
If there is pressure, and there is no spark, a heat related intermittent electrical problem comes to mind, like a crankshaft sensor. I sure don't recommend just replacing parts till you happen to find the right one, cause it is expensive, and you may never find it.
A loose wire connection is also a possibility.
