Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Dead Car, olds cutlass ciera, 1987 olds cutlass

Question
Hello,
I have used your service before, and here I am again. I have a 1987 Olds Cutlass Ciera V6. Today (1-4-05) I drove my car to work with no problems. It snowed all day and very cold. At 3:30 when I got off work I got into my car to start it. It started to start but didnt, so I turned the switch off and went to start it again, but there was nothing there, it was completely dead. A friend of mine got the jumper cables to jump it, but even with them the car was completely dead, no lights, dinging of the switch, just dead. Can you please tell me what this would be from. Could it be a switch problem, fuse, I have no idea. I deeply appreciate the help you can give me.
Thank You
P.S. Couple months ago I did replace the fuel filter and pump and distributor.
