Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Dirty steering wheel fluid and noisy when turning, steering wheel, plastic food

Hi,
I have a 96 Olds 88. The power steering wheel fluid is very dirty, and when I turn the wheels, the noise comes from the left front wheel. What may be the cause(s)? Please help. Thanks.

Hello Sy,
Get one of those plastic food basting squeeze bulbs, and suck as much fluid out as you can, then replace it with new. Then run the engine for a few minutes, and repeat.
Do it several times, and with just a couple quarts of fluid you will greatly improve the quality.
The noise you mention probably isn't directly related to the fluid condition. It could be a ball joint or tie rod end.
