I have 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue. The Window washer has stopped working.  The wipers still work fine. do you think the line is plugged? If so, how do I unplug it? Or, what else could it be? Thanks for your help!!

hi susan .it could be a plugged line if so take it loose and push the washer button if there is debris it will force it out.make sure you can hear th    e motor running or the pump.if it is not running motor prob fried.it is mounted in the washer tank fairly simple to change and avail at most parts stores.if fluid flows out of the hoses at the wiper but not out the port then take a needle and unplug holes in port.ty for writeing and please rate my help billymac

hi again susan ,sorry misunderstood .the hose is attached to the wiper arm.unless you have the style that has the washer mounted to the hood ,or behind the hood.either way if you can,t see the hose find the washer tank and listen to be sure the washer pump is running.you may need to remove the tank ,just a cpl bolts pretty simple.the hose will be attached at the bottom follow it up too the windshield.but susan make sure motor on washer pump runs when you push wipers..BUT BEFORE YOU MESS WITH ALL THIS STUFF TRY HOLDING THE WASHER ON FOR A MIN OR SO.IT MAY FORCE THE RESTRICTION OUT .IF NOT LOOK UNDER CAR SEE IF WASHER FLUID IS RUNNING OUT.IF YES HOSE LOOSE OR BROKE AT TANK GOOD LUCK SUSAN TY FOR WRITEING BILLYMAC
