hi roger.follow upper radiator hose down right under the part attached to the hose.or under radiator cap i don,t know which eng you have.please rate my help so i can get rateings back up ty billymac                                                    FOLLOW UP..YES ROGER THERE IS A TSTAT .TWO PLACES THEY PUT THEM #1 UNDER THE RADIAtor CAP.#2 IN A GOOSENECK AT THE BOTTOM OF THE UPPER RADIATOR .IF YOU HAVE A CAP NOT PART OF YOUR RADIATOR AND THE STAT IS NOT THERE BUY ONE AND PUT IT THERE.........
