Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: i know u might not specialize..., acura intregra, rubber boots

i know u might not specialize in this type of car but u seem really smart i have an acura intregra and 6months ago i got the front axel replaced and then it broke within 6 months after what can that be from at is it possible for when they break can that cause an accident i hope u can answer my question very confused

hi anna, well first ty and yes i have acura experience also. no very uncommon for the car to do anything other then make some noise and stop moveing,the car will slow down just like when you put it in neutral.now i can,t say that it will not scare you and you cause an accident lol.but just remain calm and you will still have complete control of your vehicle.axles break and this has been compensated for by the manufactures.now why is it going out in 6 months?? well maybe you just got a bad replacement,not common.maybe when the axle was installed one of the rubber boots was ripped allowing the grease to all run out which will ruin the axle very common .i hope this helps you anna,ty for writeing please take a min of your time to rate my help ty billymac
