Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 2000 LeSabre recurrent engine stalls/sluggish acceleration, fuel injection system, 2000 buick lesabre

Question
When you say they all have this problem, do you mean all models of Buick or all makes of new cars?  Also, does the fuel injection system control both the engine stall and the sluggish acceleration?  Thanks! -------------------------

Question -
Several times during the last year I have had my 2000 Buick LeSabre Ltd in for repair due to the engine stalling while driving - any speed.  (Engine- 6 cyl) After the last repair a week ago, the car has sluggish acceleration and tonight I heard something metal jerk once under the car - further back than under the accelerator.  The jerk didn't seem to affect speed.

I am afraid to take the car back for fear the engine will start stalling again!  What could be the trouble and how should I ask for repair?  Is it necessary to repair immediately? I am planning a trip through hills over the holidays.

Also, do you know if later models of the LeSabre have these problems?  I'm thinking of a trade!

Thanks!

HI PHYLLIS,WELL YES THEY ALL HAVE THIS PROB ,BUT ONE WITH LESS MILES WILL TEND TO HAVE FEWER PROBS.IT SOUNDS LIKE THE PROB WILL BE IN THE FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM .AND MOST LIKELY FUEL [PUMP] I WOULD HAVE THE FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM CHECKED PRIMARILY FUEL PRESSURE.BUT A NEW CAR WOULD BE NICE FOR YOU AND PROBLEM FREE SOMETHING TO CONCIDDER .TY AND PLEASE RATE MY SERVICE  BILLYMAC

Answer
hi phyllis.sorry about the confusion,no all cars don,t have this problem.lol what i was saying is that it is possible for all cars to have this prob at some time in there life time.and mostlikely just about any car you get probably won,t have this problem.and i will tell you four cylinders are less likely to have this problem ,completely different style of fuel system.so i would say if you are afraid to drive it,and don,t trust it ,and are unable to get it repaired .then would be a lot safer to trade it in and get something low miles and 4 cylinders.lot,s of choices for you.and yes the fuel injection is responsible for both problems you have ty and please rate my service billymac
