Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: engine cooling fan assy. R?R, lincoln continental, fan assy

I have a 1998 Lincoln Continental.  I have loosened the shroud, but am unable to lift it out due to constricted space.  What do I need to remove?  It is a one piece shroud with two fans.

hi warren ,as i am not sure about which eng you have i will assume it is the big one 32 valve.remove the cover at the front of eng with the eng specs on it.look very careful see what the fan is hitting on ,you will have to remove anything that is stopping it from comeing out.billymac
