Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 91 Olds Climate Control, blown fuses, circuit breakers

Question
Problem isn't relays or breakers. Could it be a temperature sensor and if it could be, where and how could it be checked? Any suggestions are appreciated. I want it to work again!

Thangs,  George

Question -
Heating system working fine, dead the next time car started. All controls respond and dampers work. Heater motor works when wired direct to battery, but won't come on with controls. After engine warms up, still nothing. Can't find any blown fuses. Are there relays that could be cooked, wiring that has broken, or is it the control? Suggestion as to where to look would be appreciated.

hi george, ironic that we spend all summer makeing them blow cold air and all winter trying to get them warm again lol.well george yes there is a relay for the heater.but first check the fuse box there will be a cpl of metal circuit breakers just switch them around and see if it works if so replace the breaker.if not track the relay down should be in the relay center it may say acc or heater or a|c.gotta be one of those if not get back with me and i will snoop around for info.please take a min of your time to rate my help ty billymac

Answer
hi again george .well more then likely you have a problem with the bcm body control module  or even with the acc controller.and possibly even the fan switch or switch panel.this is a complicated system and diagnoseing wil be hard ,but let,s give it a shot.remove your switch panel from the dash take a test light and check the plug while you are turning the fan off and on if light flashes.go to the heater mtr resistor located on the heater box near the mtr.it has two screws holding it on and a elec connector do the same thing with the switch as you test these wires.if light flashes replace the resistor you can jump resistor over if it is bad mtr will run good luck george please rate my help the rateings are falling quick lol ty billymac
