Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Radio/tape player, buick skylark, radio tape

Question
I have a tape stuck in the tape player and need to remove either it or the dash and unit for repair.  Is there a special way to take the dash loose?  It is in a 1998 Buick Skylark.  Thanks! David

hi david.well you shouldn,t have to remove the whole dash.you should be able remove the plastic around the radio and then the radio itself.the dash has a lot of wireing and screws and lot,s of other stuff.you should only do this as a last resort.just start snapping panels out of the way until you can access the radio. please take a minute to rate my service ty billymac
