Hello Billy I had just replaced my head gaskest and intake gasket well I went to start it and the alternater spun with the belt on it which i thought was very odd...when i parked my car it ran it turned over and all but I had water in the oil so we did the gaskets and all and now I dont know what happened the car is a 1993 oldsmobile achieva with a 3300 engine.

hi wendy.well windy is your question the car won,t start or about the alt spinning.with the info i have all i can tell you is why the alt turns.it turns because the tensioner which holds tension on the belt is stuck you need to pry it down until belt is tight .and charge batt.if your car won,t run at all write me back tell me everything you can about it and i will try and help  olease take a min to rate my service ty billymac
