Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 95 olds cutlass, 2.2L 4cyl, olds cutlass, slip hook

Question
I have a broken cable guide (tube) that goes from the top of the engine down to the transmission.  The cable is not broken, only the guide tube. It is broken where it attaches to the transmission housing.  I can see some transmission fluid that may have been spashed out.  How difficult is it to replace the cable guide?  How many shops hours should I expect to be charged?  Assuming no other leaks, is the trans fluid I see on top of the cover from a splashing effect w/in the transmission?  Is this a drivable condition to get it to a mechanic?
