Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Water Pump, strange smell, sure what kind

Question
Good Morning,

Ok, well I guess I should start by saying on tuesday morning I noticed water leaking from my car. Then tuesday night, I was on the road and smoke started coming out of my hood and there was a strange smell. I pulled over at a gas station and we added water and lots of smoke was coming out.  I was told that my car had overheated.  My problem is... I have to fill my car up with water everytime I go to drive because it is completely empty. I should add that while I am filling up the tank with water a lot of it is leaking out on to the floor. Do you know what the problem is.

Answer
hi nina.well i am not sure what kind of car you have .but water comeing out from underneith indicates a bad hose or a bad water pump.or even radiator.you need to get the cooling system checked soon.eng overheat is very dangerous and can cause severe eng damage.so if it is a hose not usually expensive and any gas station can repair.good luck nina.please take a sec to vote for my service ty billymac
