Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Overhead console w/ thermometer, silhouette minivan, disply

I recently replaced my battery on a 1999 olds silhouette minivan. The overhead disply of the outside temperature used to work, now it just reads OC. The compass and fuel related info works fine, just the temperature readout is not. I replaced the sensor under the hood with no change. Do you have an idea what is wrong?

I immagine it needs recalibrated, but I normally don't see that hi tech stuff on the trucks I work on.
It should be explained in the owners manual, but if you don't find it there, a quick trip to the dealership, and they will probably do it, or walk you through it.
