Question
My car want start when I turn it over. It's like it gets no fire. If I keep the battery hooked up it runs down. It has over 200,000 miles on it. I not had too much trouble with it.  not the engine.

Answer
Hello Gloria,
You first need to find out if it is a spark problem, or a fuel problem. If the fuel pump isn't running, it won't start.
You can check for spark by using a spare spark plug connected to one of the wires, grounding the threaded end, and cranking the engine.
Another way to check for spark and fuel both is look in the throttle body, if that is what the engine has. You should see fuel spraying while cranking. You can actually pour a tiny bit in there, then crank the engine to see if it hits on that gas, meaning there is spark, but no fuel, therefore telling you to check the fuel pump system.
