Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Electrical, buick riviera, electrical problem

The Dash of my 1990 buick riviera is going on and off saying there is an electrical problem? What could be causeing this?

hi dane.well riv has it,s own diag system.and what this system .is normally concerned about .is voltage alt check your alt guage see if it is normal.check all your lights signals .if you find nothing wrong.then this diag system has made an error.i owned one just like it and the same prob occcured.disconnect the batt for a few mins .if this don,t work then you will need a body computer or bcm.good luck please rate our service..ty billymac
