Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Blower Motor runs all the time, hi art, blower fan

Question
The vehicle is a 1991 Olds 88 w/3.8 liter.  The problem is that the blower fan will not turn off.  It continues to run even when the car is shut off.  We had to remove the fuse on the firewall (A/C fuse) to make it stop.  Tried pulling every relay we could find and nothing would make it stop.  The car has Climate Control, so I don't know how to test the switch (its a membrane type switch).

hi art .well unfortuneately your auto climare control actually operates off a module or computer if you will typically the unit is mounted under the dash.and is a cpl hundred bucks.and a lengthy diag cost and installation cost.this type of system has always had probs.simple solution and very cheap is simple cut the wires at the fan add aux switch to the dash everything on the system will work normal you will control the fan.good luck art please take a sec of your time to rate y service ty billymac
