Answer
hi roy.  lol well i guess not really as smart as gm had intended it to be lol.well roy this paticular vehicle as it,s brother blazer.both have a vortech eng.and normally have the same probs.as i don,t know exactly what the code in your computer is .i will just give you a cpl of possibilities.first of all egr valve.most common.if you look in the center of eng in front near the waterpump pulley top.you will see a round valve with a plug in it there will be two 8 or 10 mil bolts holding it to the intake.use 1/4 in socket to remove this.when you reinstall be positive you start bolts back in by hand and they are straight.or you will strip threads in eng.after you remove this valve look on the bottom there will be a pintle or rod and a hole this rod closes this hole off.there will be carbon there holding the pintle open clean all carbon off be sure pin opens and closes all the way.reinstall valve and gasket ..if this don,t solve prob get codes out of obd puter write back..###2 key stuck in ignition.lock steering depress brake move wheel back and forth and pull key at same time.if this works have new key made at your local dealer..good luck roy  please take time to rate my help   billymac
