Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Quad Driver Module, puter, 3l

Question
This is on a 2.3L SOHC Quad 1996. What exactly does the Quad Driver Module control? According to my scanner I have a fault on Quad Driver B.

hey frank.well the drivers are an internal part on the puter.not serviceable.the module is axtually split a  and b so inessence the quad driver can cause half of the eng to misfire.but the question is .did the module fail or the driver.in my experience it has been the module.good luck   billymac
