Hello Van! Having a swamp of problems with this car. It's been sitting for awhile. Just recently got a new gast tank, radiator, MAP sensor, idle control valve and a tune-up. The car is running worse. Every time I stop, my car acts like it wants to cut off or just cuts off completely. When starting it back up, it just cuts off again. I have to take off really fast if I want to get to where I'm going. Also just recently my fan in the front of the car stopped working. What could be the problem? Oh, got new muffler too. I can't even get out of my driveway before it cuts off please help!! It also sounds like something is clogging up when my idle is up high when pressing on the gas while in park. HELP!

Sounds like your cat converter may be plugged.
Check the cooling fan fuse.

Hello Van it's me again. Could my converter be why my car keeps cutting off?

Answer
Hello Sapphira,I would need to know the fuel pressure if it were mine. it needs to be up to specifications.
Then I would probably remove the exhaust system temporarily to see if it is plugged. I know it will be real loud, but if it runs well, then you can have it replaced.
If it still runs terribly, reconnect it, and it didn't cost anything but time.
There are many things that can cause your symptoms, so it is impossible to say from here.
Fuel, spark, air flow, vacuum...a problem with any of those systems.
Disconnect and plug some vacuum lines to see if a big leak in one of them is causing it. Don't forget the brake booster.
And the egr valve, if not seating correctly, is like a great big vacuum leak.
