Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 1992 Oldsmobile Achieva, oldsmobile achieva, crank shaft

Hello,
I am having trouble with my 1992 Oldsmobile Achieva, it is a Quad 4.  It will start and run at idle, but as soon as you put it in gear it dies.  My Uncle who is not an expert, and lives out of state, (so he cannot see the problem) has had problems like this before and he thinks it may be one of the sensors.  What do you think?  Can you also tell me where the Crank Shaft sensor, Cam sensor, and Oxygen sensor are located on this car?  My husband took off the coil and took it into a shop to have it tested and it tested fine.  I am lost, I need my car and can't afford to put a lot of money in a 12 year old car and can't afford to buy a new one.

this sounds like a bad crank senser or fuel pump i would check the crank senser first common in gm cars it is on the botton of the crank it as 2 wires that plug in good luck to u hun and if you need more help upi let me know and you have a pretty name pete
