Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Replacing fan belt and tensioner, fan belt, straight answer

Pete,  I emailed GM and got no straight answer.  Is it necessary to disconnect the engine mounts in order to replace a fan belt and tensioner?  I have a 1995 Olds Regency 98. If there's a way to do it without disconnecting the mounts, please let me know.

sorry to say this but mounts do have to be on bolted it is not to bad just use a small jack under the motor with a block of wood . sorry gm never emailed so ask me from now on if you need help u let me know will walk you threw step by step . good luck to u hun and you have a pretty name pete
