I'm looking for the location of the fuel filter. I cant seem to find it.

Hi Ray,
As an 82, I think it will have a carburetor, rather than fuel injection.If I am correct about that, the filter is inside the fitting on the carburetor where the fuel line connects. It takes two wrenches to loosen that connection, but when the line is off, take the fitting out of the carb. Observe the location of the spring, and the direction the filter is in. Also, be careful to not cross thread it when you put it back in. The threads are real fine.
