HOW TO YOU REPLACE THE TENSIONER AND PULLY.WHAT HAS TO BE REMOVED? ON THE 1998 OLDS 3800 ENGINE ALL POWER

Hi Cropper,
First have the belt off so the tension is released.
Then remove the bolt where the tensioner is bolted to the engine block, and remove the complete assembly.
If the tensioner is good, but you just need the pulley, it is available separately, at "O"Reillys, and other parts houses, and is much cheaper than the complete assembly.
