Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Rear Brakes And engine keeps giving #44 lean exhaust code, vacuum leak, rear brakes

Question
I put new shoes on, a new brake cylinder,  new rubber line and drums were in good shape on left rear brake. that wheel still grabs (causes wheel to lock up and slide
tire).engine acts as if it were a carburated engine-- stumbles acts as if not geting gas -press on accelerator and it wants to die. slows down like running out of gas then compututer displays "check engine" and the engine comes back up to speed goes on for a while then might do it again sometimes have trouble on hills. did replace fuel pressure diaphram.Thank you

Answer
Hi Mike,
Often, when a wheel locks up, it is because the other side is not braking, which may be because it has oil on it, or not getting fluid. Have you checked for that?
Possible vacuum leak on the engine. But i would want to check the fuel pressure also.
