Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: My car keeps dying., gm cars, diagnostic test

Hello, I have a 1999 olds 88. Sometimes it takes 2 or three times for the engine to kick over. It has also been dying on me, sometimes while the car is idling and sometimes when I accelerate. What could be causing this? My Olds has the 3.8v6.

this should have a diagnostic test to see what is going on . In my shop i would also tell we should have one done . But i will say this it could be a crank senser it is very common in GM cars . If you want you can try this i hope it will do the trick pete
