Plymouth Repair: plymouth voyager 1994, changing spark plugs, plymouth voyager

Question
Hello,

I just bought a 1994 Plymouth Voyager LE with 3.3L engine, mileage is 160K. I usually like to work on my car myself. So, I will be asking questions now and then.
I have started working on tuneup. I will be changing spark plugs, plug wires, air filter, fuel filter, pcv filter; Is there anyother item that I should change with these items?

This one (as you know) has a transversly mounted V6 engine; What is the best way to change the spark plugs towards the firewall side? Haynes manual says that these are accessibel from underneath the car, which I doubt is true! Is there anyother way?

The other thing I never found in Haynes manuals is where to put the Jack Stands, when I have already raised the car using screw jack? (the jacking points are already in use!)

Anyother advice, based on your experience, with these mini-vans is highly appreciated.

Thanks
Khan

Answer
Hello Khan

This is a very good motor you have bought . far as tune up you have coverd everything. You need to do when i do use jack stands i put them on the frame so you do not damage the floor of the van . the three spark plugs in the back by the fire wall. take off the air breather it will give you anough room for a rachet and spark plug socket . that is all lol. If you need more help just let me know i will be glad to help you on your van . pete
