Plymouth Repair: ignition coil, champion plugs, plymoth voyager

Question
I have a 99 plymoth voyager that has 78,000 miles. Since the weather has begun to get cold, the van starts hard(hesitates) for a 2-3 seconds then starts and runs fine as long as it warms up good. It stalled out on me a few weeks back and the engine light came on so I took it in for a tune up, trans. service and oil change. The place that did the work did not reset the service light but told me to disconnect the battery for 1/2 an hour. I did and now it still starts rough but the light will not come back on. I took it into the dealer and even though it started rough for them nothing came up with diagnostic testing. They changed the battery, cleaned throttle body, new air filter, new plug wires and still starts rough. (I also took it back to the place that did the tune up to have them put in champion plugs instead of Bosch per dealer). This costed me over $300.00 and now they think it is the ignition coil. They want another $282.00. Do you think they are on the right tract and what is my right as a consumer about having to pay more charges since they did not fix it the first time after I paid the $300.00? Thanks for you input.

Answer
Hello bryan

they should do this at no charge . In my shop i feel to all my custmers what when they pay once for a problem they should not have to pay again . Iwould fight this and tell them to do this fix the car for the first price . and yes this does sound like the problem pete
