Pontiac Repair: 97 Pontiac Sunfire 2.2L Plug Wires, pontiac sunfire, pain in the butt

Is there an easy way to change out the plug wires on the 2.2L? They are in the back of the engine, and seems there is almost no way to get to them to change them? Go in blind or remove part of the intake manifold? Thanks!

Hi Muike.

those are a pain in the butt to change. But if you pull one out at a time you should be able to fish the new ones back in one at a time. label them so you know where they go on the coils and plugs. No easy way to do it unless you cut the old ones off and fish in the new ones 1 at a time. good luck :-}
