I have occasional softness when applying the brakes. No leaks visible at wheels or master cylinder and resevoir has stayed at full line. Abs light is on.

I doe sthe pedal feel soft when the light comes on? is the light on all the time but the pedal feels soft from time to time? If the pedal feels soft when the lamp comes on it would have the car scanned for codes at one of the big box auto parts stores and see what codes are stored. if the pedal is just intermittantly soft and the light has nothing to do with when it happens I would suspect a master cylider is to blame. they will eak internal past the seals and the pedal will feel soft and you not see any loss of fluid. good luck :-)
