Pontiac Repair: Water sound in dash, rubber elbow, pontiac grand prix

Question
I have what sounds to be water slooshing around in the dash when I turn corners or going up a hill the plastic trim on the passenger side of the car is bent up in place's.  This is a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix

Answer
Hi John:

it's 1 of 2 things either the drain for the HVAC box is plugged up and rain water is backing up ionto the heater box causing your noise The drain is on the fire wall on the right side of the car (passenger) towards the bottom of the wall it's a black rubber elbow they get plugged up with dirt you can pull it off and take a look in the drain if it's not plugged and the water is not from there then the noise is from the heater core the cooling system may be low on antifreeze and air gets trapped in the heater core and then is will make a noise like that as well. if the antifreeze is loow you need to find the leak just adding coolant to it is not the fix. good luck :)
