Pontiac Repair: 1998 Grand Prix GTP interior Light fuse keeps blowing, grand prix gtp, amp fuse


Question
THE INTERIOR LIGHT FUSE BLOWS.  FUSE IS REPLACED AND AT NO REGULAR INTERVAL, THE FUSE FLOWS AGAIN.  I HAVE HAD NO SUCCESS FINDING A WIRING DIAGRAM SHOWING THIS CIRCUIT.  
I NEED HELP.

it is the INT LAMP 10 amp fuse that is blowing.

shorts are hard to find especially if it's an intermittant. My online service info only goes back to 1999 so I camn't get you a wiring diagram either and this software doesn't allow cut and paste even if I could find it sorry. what you need to do is get a service manual. stay away from haynes look for chilton or motor and look for the schematic for that ck. and you need a bunch of inline fuse holders and put a holder in each branch of the ckt smaller then the fuse in the fuse box that way where ever the short is that smaller fuse will blow before the one in the fuse box. then after driving it "X" amount of time you will have one component that doesn't work and you can then trace the short to that branch of the ckt.Chnaces are it's a rubbed/chafed wire and not a component/lamp.
