Pontiac Repair: Seat Belt Sensor coming on.., side seat, air bag

Hi, so my '07 G driver side seat belt sensor is coming on while I'm driving, yes i am buckled, it has just started this last tonight. (3-12-12) and has came on 6 times. I'm thinking its just the sensor going bad, and if it is do i need to take it in to a dealer or can i fix that myself?

It's just the seat belt warning lamp not the air bag light? If it indeed is just the belt warning lamp chances are it's jst the switch in the buckle. BUT with out seeing it I can't tell you that for sure. the buckle can be replaced pretty easy. if it's a air bag light it can be any number of things.. Good luck :-)
