Pontiac Repair: 2005 Grand prix... has a few problems!!, window wipers, broken spring

Hii,

i have a 2005 Grand Prix. its got more than one issue! Today i was driving and had the heat on high, when i turned my window wipers on the heat turns off! Alsooo my car bottoms out really easy, i cant even have passengers in the back seat becasue if i hit the littlest bump my car bottoms out! i have nooo clue about any kind of car problems, what do you think the cause of these two problems could be?

the easy one id the rear sitting low it's 1 of 2 things either it has a broken spring in the back or the struts are worn out. pretty cut and dry.
as for the heat going out when the wipers are on. if you turn the wipers off does the blower motor turn back on? could be a common ground wire issue. that car has a big body ground on the frame rail right under the battery If that is corroded or rotted off that will cause all kinds of issues. That is where I would start looking. also while your there look at the battery connections the batteries in those cars are top post and those are really susceptible to corrosion on the cable ends that can cause a lot of strange things to happen as well if the cables ends are corroded replace the cable that is corroded don't just clean the ends the corrosion wicks into the cables and they are junk then. good luck :-}
