Where is the block plug on the Pontiac 1997 Bonneville SE 3.8 engine

Hi there:

I'll assume you want to drain the coolant out of the block and not asking where a "soft plug" is? there is no block drain plug on that engine. the knock sensor is the plug. remove the seneor and that will drain the coolant. on some application for that enegin there are 2 knock sensors on on each side of the engine. the knock sensor is a round sensor with a single dark blue wire going to it.
