Pontiac Repair: auto repair, crank sensor, pontiac grand prix

Have a 91 pontiac grand prix 3.1 lit.runs good till gets warm then cuts off. Not getn fire to injectors till cools down. Then starts again. Help!

Are you loosing injector pulse to both banks? how about spark? If you do not have spark either it's a crank sensor or an ignition module. if you are just loosing injetor pulse It' either a bad bank of injetors bad injector or a bad engine control module or a power or ground going to the ECM. I would ohm out all your injectors and see if one or more is shorted first off. it was pretty common for that vinatge engien to have bad injetors.
