Pontiac Repair: grand prix 05, guage, radiator

hello Todd! i just want to know which is the ideal temperature for a 3800 grand prix 05?
my car reaches 3/4 and more of the gauge. it is correct?

the guage on the dash is just an indicator not a true exact reading I would say the 3/4 is okay especially if your in stop and go traffic with the a/c on and it's hot and humid out. if it start to approach the red are of the gauge then I would have it looked at. When the engine is cold make sure the radiator and the over flow bottle are both full. good luck :-}
