Pontiac Repair: drls and cluster not working in 2000 sunfire, blown fuses, fuse block

Question
i have a 2000 sunfire and i changed thge manifold donut  and now  i have no drls or dashboard gauges obviously the donut has nothing to do with either so im thinking  maybe i disturbed a bad wire and shorted it out any ideas?

well usually DRL's not working is an issue with the forward lamp harness there are multiple splices in that harness that corrode and the DRL's quit working along with one or both of the head lamps either hi or lo beam. as for the gauges not working either it may be related make sure you don't have any blown fuses in the under hood fuse block or the dash board fuse box. other tyen that your guess is as food as mine as to what happened to this. Your right an exchaust seal has nothing to do with the Dash lamps.
