Pontiac Repair: 2008 Pontiac G5 GT, pontiac g5 gt, axle shaft

Question
I have a 2008 Pontiac G5 GT with a 2.4L and manual getrag trans. How do I replace the back up light switch? Where is it located in regards to the engine bay? How long of a job is this, and are there any special tools needed? Does anything need to be removed from the car?

Hey Ryan:

it's located on the top of the tranmission case above where the right hand axle shaft  comes out of the transmission. it's down low and towards the rear. No better way to expalin it to you. it has a connector on it with 2 wires. It's a pretty easy job. good luck :-}
