Pontiac Repair: 2005 Grand Prix Turn Signal Problem, left turn signal, dripp

My 2005 Grand Prix blows the front left turn signal bulb 2-3 times a week.  My husband has changed the assembly but it still happens.  Any ideas?

Hi linda:

make sure the socket is not burnt out. if it shows any sign of heat replace it. if that was alreay replaced the harness that the socket plugs into above the lamp is prone for water getting into it. It's a connector wit 4 or 5 wire in it It's a flat connector and where it is positioned water dripp on and into the connector and over time it can cause connection issues. make sure there is no corrosion inside the connector. good luck :-}
