Answer
Hi Tom:

is the engine you put in this a new/rebuilt one or a used engine? If it's a used engine chance are it has a bad headgasket in it. What was the reason for the engine replacment? It wasn't due to an over heated engine so bad it damaged the engine was it? Start with the basics. it need a true 50/50 mix antifreeze to water mix. the electric cooling fans need to be working. at least one will come on when the a/c is on for a minute or so that is if the a/c still works. when the fan turns you should feel the warm air going across the radiator. The radiator/a/c condenser could be plugged with dirt and tree pollen. start there.
