Pontiac Repair: abs wiring harness location?, beep beep beep, crankshaft position sensor

Question
Hi, I have a 2000 sunfire 2.2 and i recently replaced the crankshaft position sensor and now when i put the car in drive it makes a 'beep, beep, beep' noise in dash and a green light comes on and my blinkers stop blinking on their own when the car gets warm. They will still work if i click them on and off manually and also the driverside headlight is real dim now too. I got a code from a scanner for a right rear abs speed sensor harness so i bought one of those but i dont know where it is located to get to it. The one that i bought is about 2ft long and has a yellow loose wire and a blue loose wire..Any help is appreciated thanks...

Answer
Hi Heather:
the issue your having is with the DRL day time running lights the ABS warning lamp is amber in color. the DRL is green. the forward lamp harness for the car is more then likely bad. that are multiple splice in the harness and they eventually corrode and break the circuits for the head lamps. your best bet is to replace the whole harness ther is not enough wire in the harness to cut out the slpices and fix it for a long term repair. So look into getting a complete harness for the front lamps. good luck :)
