Pontiac Repair: window issues with 2000 grand prix, a1 auto, sellon

Question
I was rolling up the power window and i heard something fall apart inside the door. I took the panel off and the window is still on track. there are 2 cables one is tight and the other is loose. not sure how to fix it. when i manually pulled the window up it will only go so far. the motor still works when i hit the button.

that needs a window regulator. GM sells them as a unit the motor with the regulator (cables&track part). you may be able to find one aftermarket with just the regulator. Try E-bay there is a sellon on the A1 auto parts or something like that they have TONS of aftermarket parts to buy. good luck :)
