02 Pontiac Grand Prix V6 3800, the windshield wipers are stuck in the up position when we turn it off. Is this repair easy to do or should we take it to a mechanic?

Hi Kim:

Either the wiper park arm broke or the stop for the arm is bent it's not a do it your self job but the good news is the part is not ver expensive to repair. It's a prettyt common issue on that car especially if the wipers were frozen to the glass or had a heavy snow load on the arms. good luck :)
