Pontiac Repair: how to bleed power stering and rack, power stering, power steering fluid

i put in a new power stearing pump oil in it gets hot fast and still hard to turn,i took the return line off started car no fluid cam out when i turned wheel.how can it all be bled out ,rack and pump?

A rule of thumb to bleed a power steering system is this #1 use the right fluid. GN cars do not use ATF they use power steering fluid. fill the fluid so it's mid way between the hot and cold levels on the stick. jack up the car so both wheels are off the ground unlock the steering coulmn but turning the key to run and tuen the wheel back and forth from full rt to full left 10 times. top the fluid off again and repeat the same thing 1 more time lower the car down start it up and slowly turn it from full rt to full left that should do it for you.
