Pontiac Repair: 1996 Olds Ciera Rear window Defroster, body harness, head assembly

I asked this question way back in January, I don't remember if I received an answer?
My Rear defroster wont go on, do you know where the read defogger relay is located?

Hi Allen:

I'm not an olds guy but on the Pontiac verion of this car the relay is part of the control head assembly. usually that is not the issue usually you have a wire overheat condition. one of the connetrs between the control head and the rear window is melted. a loose terminal in any of the connectors causes an overheat conditon and the harness melts. follor the harness from of the control head along the right side of the car and you will find the issue. Usually it's where the body harness and the dash harness are connected. or where the body harness splits to the rear window by the rear package shelf. good luck :)
