what year and what engine is in this car?

There are several issues that could be to blame for this depending on the year and the engine it could have a bad underhood fuse block or it just needs an engine control module update on the software. No matter what year or engine is in this car it's critical to make sure that the engine throttle plate and throttle body be clean and free of carbon deposits. either carb cleaner or air intake system cleaner will work to clean the throttle body out. doe this happen on a cold start in the AM? or after a hot soak EG it run for more then 15 minutes it sits while you go into a stor e and you come out and try to start it hot.
