Pontiac Repair: 2005 pontiac vibe heater, 2005 pontiac vibe, pontiac vibe

Question
I have a 2005 pontiac vibe.  The heater/ac blower goes on
when the car has been going down the road above 60mph for
about 15 minutes. Then its almost like a switch kicks in and
the head lights when on will dim for a milli second and the
blower kick on.

Hey Mike:
well there is a loose connection somewhere or you have a bad blower motor. The lamps dimming is a result of the motor turning in probably worse if you have the fan on Hi and it happens. when the fan is NOT working keep the key on and go over to the right side of the dash under the gove box that is where the blower motor is use athe handle of a screw driver and tap on the motor and see if it starts working. If so the motor has a dead spot and tapping it gets it off that dead spot and it starts to work. If not wiggle the wires at the motor and at the resistor assemblt which is right next to the motor wiggle those wires as well. where ever you wiggle it and they stat to work is where you found your problem. On a side note on thse cars the battery terminals get badly corroded especially the (+) red terminal take a look there to. good luck :)
