Pontiac Repair: fan blower motor relay, sheet metal screws, screw driver

My fan blower motor relay for my 2005 grand prix 3.8L is bad,I purchased a new one but cannot figure out how to change it out. It is located under the dash on the passenger side. Thanks.

Hi Scott:
that is a blower motor control module. It' right next to the motor under the dash and on the bottom of the heater box. It's plastic welded to the box. use a flat screw driver or a chisel to remove where the plastic was melted over to hold it into the box. you will need to sheet metal screws to re attach it to the box when you put the new one in. good luck :)
