Answer
Hey Daryl:
what model and year car is this? sounds like a pass key issue If the pass key module doesn't see thye right key siganl or the correct key signal it will not crank the car. all the accy's will come on thus the clicking your hear in the fuse box. When you had the new key cut did they verify the esisting key "chip" that you had and did they give you the same key "chip" # there are 15 different chip codes and if they gave you the incorrect one thatcould be your issue. they cut the key right and it allows the key to turn in the cylinder but if the chip is wrong the module will not see it as the learned one and will not send a go signal to the engine control module to allow injector pulse. The pass key system is 2 fold it prevents starter engagement and it also prevents the injector from running. Good luck :) They should be able to tell what key chip this car had from the factory and they have a key reader at the dealership Those #'s should match. If you have the old key from the car take it with you they should all be the same. good luck :)
